Upselling Made Easy
One of the best things about Paparazzi is the unbelievably affordable price.  Because our accessories are only $5 each, women are free to explore different color combinations and styles without any guilt.

As you help your customers pick out their new favorite pieces, don’t be shy about showing them complementing accessories!  Is your customer shopping for a new bracelet?  Try showing her a ring or a necklace that completes the look!  With a simple, “I know what would look great with that!” you can easily double or triple the sale.

Blocking your displays by color makes upselling a snap!  You can quickly find a blue hair clip that plays on the yellow beads in a necklace or a stunning silver necklace that allows a bold bracelet to work the spotlight.  The more familiar you become with your inventory, the more quickly you can offer suggestions to your customers to make the most of their shopping experience.  Remember it’s these types of personal touches that will allow you to evolve into “My Consultant” instead of “a Consultant.”

 

Color Blocking Examples


In addition to blocking your displays by color, try creating two or three sets that you know work well together and showing them as a group.  Put these sets in a frame together, pin them to a corkboard, or arrange them on a mannequin to draw extra attention to them.  Showing your customers how the accessories work together to create endless combinations will greatly improve your retail sales.
